The Cisco Digital Media Encoder 2000 is a multiprocessor, studio-quality audio and video encoding appliance. Designed for sophisticated users, the Cisco Digital Media Encoder 2000 offers multiple audio and video input options, a variety of encoding formats and functions, and high-bandwidth encoding.

Features of the Cisco Digital Media Encoder 2000 include:

• Studio-level dual-channel encoding, making it a good choice for the corporate office or data center
• Live encoding/transcoding of media from analog and digital sources into standard formats (WMV, FLV, H.264, etc.)
• Local management via an embedded LCD; or remote management through the Cisco Digital Media Manager
