To specify the local messaging gateway's domain name, use the ip domain-name command in Cisco UMG configuration mode. To clear the configuration, use the no form of this command.
ip domain-name dns-server-domain-name
no ip domain-name company.com

Usage Guidelines
A domain name server is optional unless you have Avaya Interchange, in which case it is mandatory for failover support.
Cisco UMG supports up to four domain name servers.
