The music on hold feature plays music to users when they are put on hold. Music on hold audio source files must meet the following specifications:
•16-bit PCM .wav file
•Stereo or mono
•Sample rates of 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 32 kHz, 16 kHz, or 8 kHz
For information on tasks that are performed to set up music on hold, see the "Music On Hold" section.
Tip Uploading a new audio source file replaces the current file on the system.
Table 26-1 describes the settings on the Music On Hold page where you can upload music on hold audio source files (System Settings > Music On Hold).

Uploaded Audio Source
This link displays the name of the music on hold file that is currently installed. The default file that is installed is SampleAudioSource.
To listen to the audio source file, click the link and download the file to your desktop.
Upload from Desktop
To upload an audio source file from your desktop, click Upload from Desktop and browse to the location of the file.
Copy from System USB Port
To upload an audio source file from a system USB port, click Copy from System USB Port and browse to the location of the file. Ensure that the USB key is put in the port on the server before you copy the file.
Upload
To upload the file to the server, click Upload.
Cancel
If you do not want to upload the file, click Cancel.
