Simple, Secure Wireless Deployment and Management
To help small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprise branch offices accelerate wireless deployments, Cisco offers wireless LAN (WLAN) controller modules that support six, eight, twelve or twenty-five Cisco Aironet Access points. These controller modules are specifically designed for companies with limited IT support and allow SMBs and enterprise branch offices to easily deploy and manage secure WLANs. The modules provide a secure enterprise-class wireless system, and deliver:
- Business-class RF security and WLAN security policy monitoring
- Wireless intrusion prevention system (IPS) capabilities
- Award-winning Radio Frequency (RF) management
- Support for Voice over Wi-Fi and Location services
- Quality of service (QoS)
- Layer 3 fast secure roaming for WLANs
The Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Modules manage up to twenty-five Cisco Aironet access points and is supported on Cisco 2800 and 3800 series Integrated Services Routers and Cisco 3700 Series routers.
With performance up to 100 Mbps, the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Modules enable small and medium-sized branch offices to deploy collaboration applications such as guest access and mobile voice. Organizations can offer robust coverage with 802.11 a/b/g or deliver unprecedented reliability using 802.11n, Cisco Next-Generation Wireless Solutions.
