Get Flexible, Top-of-Rack, Layer 2 and 3 Switching
Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches extend Cisco Unified Fabric to mainstream data center environments. These 1-rack-unit (1RU) switches are positioned for top-of-rack (ToR) server access, offering performance and flexibility for demanding workloads. Included in this switch family are high-density Cisco Nexus 3100 switches, ultra-low-latency Cisco Nexus 3500 switches, and Cisco Nexus 3000 switches.
Features and Capabilities
Cisco Nexus 3000 switches offer wire speed layer 2 and 3 switching for data center ToR deployments. These switches deliver flexible port densities, low power, and programmability on a data-center-class, Cisco Nexus operating system (Cisco NX-OS).
Cisco Nexus 3100 switches offer high performance, mobility, high density, and rich programmability, all unlocked by a consistent NX-OS. These next-generation ToR switches are ideal for deployments where a range of densities are required. They also help enable mobility of virtual workloads at scale.
Cisco Nexus 3500 switches offer the lowest latency in the industry today, taking advantage of unique Cisco Algo Boost technology. These ToR switches are also well-suited for any data center environments, particularly for high-performance trading and computing. They are also ideal for big data environments that demand latencies of 250 nanoseconds or less with embedded advanced analytics.
