Q. What can I do if I am experiencing a buzzing sound when I speak through the handset?
A.Step 1:
Access the SPA-941 web-based setup page.Step 2:
Click Admin Login, then advanced.
Step 3:
Click Phone.
Step 4:
Scroll down and look for Audio Input Gain (dB). Set the Handset Input Gain to -6 or 6.
Step 5:

Note: Check if sound quality on the phone has improved. If not, proceed to Step 6.
Step 6:
Click EXT 1.
Step 7:
Look for Silence Supp Enable, and set it to yes.
Note: If you are still encountering the same problem after these changes, reset the device to the factory default, and reconfigure it. For instructions on how to reset the SPA-941, click here.
