Q. How do I setup DID on the SPA9000?
A.Setting-Up Direct Inward Dialing
Direct Inward Dialing (DID). You can set up your DID on the Hunt group found on the SIP tab of the PBX parameter. To configure DID on your SPA9000, follow the instructions below.
Step 1:
Access the SPA-9000's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.Step 2:
When the web-based setup page appears, click Admin Login then advanced.
Step 3:
Click Voice then SIP.
Step 4:
Look for Hunt Groups and enter the Direct Inward Dialing settings on the field provided.
Here are examples of DID and the explanation:
Sample DID 1:
500:100,102,103.
This means that when the caller dials the User ID on one of the Line tabs, given that the specified Contact List is aa or Auto Attendant and he dials 500, it will automatically ring the three extensions specified (100,102,103).
Sample DID 2:
7005:100, cfwd=vm100
This means that when the caller dials the User ID on one of the Line tabs, given that the specified Contact List is aa or Auto Attendant and he dials 7005 the call will automatically go to extension 100. If nobody answers the phone, it will automatically forward it to the Voice mail with voice mail ID: 100.
