Q. How do I change the LAN IP address of my SPA2100?
A.There are routers that broadcast an IP address of 192.168.0.x. You will know if you have one if the PC connected directly to the router is getting an IP address of 192.168.0.x. Changing SPA2100's LAN IP address is necessary to avoid IP conflict between the SPA2100 and the router.
Changing the LAN IP Address of the SPA2100
Step 1:
Access the SPA2100's web-based interface. For instructions, click?here.Step 2:
When the SPA2100's web-based interface appears, click Admin Login then advanced.
Note: Access to the SPA2100's Admin Login-Advanced page does not require a password. SPA2100 units acquired though ITSPs, however, are generally password-protected for security reasons. This denies access to the Admin Login and rejects changes applied to existing voice configuration. If the unit is purchased from a reseller, it can be restored to default settings through factory reset using the IVR. For IVR instructions, click?here. (Please hyperlink to "SPA2100's IVR Menu".)
Step 3:
Click LAN Setup and enter "192.168.1.0" on the LAN IP Address field.
Step 4:
Click?
.
Note: The SPA will reboot after applying the changes. Access the SPA2100's setup page using the new IP address you entered.
