Q. How many telephone units can I connect on each FXS port of the SPA2100?
A.You can connect a few phones to the SPA2100's Line/FXS port, but the total ringer equivalency number (REN) of the telephone should not exceeds three RENs per Line/FXS port. REN indicates how much load is required for a phone to recognize a ring. Check your telephone documentation for REN specifications. You may also locate REN on the underside label of the analog phone itself.
