Q. How do I change the IP address of my Cisco Small Business VoIP router?
A.Sometimes it is necessary to change the router's LAN IP address in order to avoid an IP address conflict between the VoIP router and other networking devices. For instructions, complete the steps in this document.
Change the LAN IP Address of the Router
Complete these steps in order to change the LAN IP address of the router:

Access the router's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.Step 2:
When the router's web-based setup page appears, look for Local IP Address, and change it to "192.168.2.1" in order to avoid an IP address conflict.

Renew the computer's IP address.Note: The router will reboot after you apply the settings. Access the router's setup page using "192.168.2.1" (that is, the new IP address of the VoIP router).
