The four-port Gigabit Ethernet card, model G1000-4, for the ONS 15454 Multiservice Provisioning Platform (MSPP) enable Gigabit media transport over a highly reliable, carrier class SONET/SDH infrastructure. The unprecedented TDM capabilities of the ONS 15454, combined with high density DWDM optics and the evolutionary G1000-4 Gigabit Ethernet card, enables service providers to add new market differentiating services to their existing tariff portfolio over a common infrastructure. For enterprise customers, the G1000-4 card offers high-availability transport leveraging a well understood Ethernet interface for transporting data between their offices or campus.
