Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco Network Connectivity Center. The last day to order the affected product is July 28, 2006. Customers with active service contracts may continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 27, 2007. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Service provider customers with needs for network and service management can consider the alternative Cisco products, Cisco Active Network Abstraction as well as Cisco Info Center. Enterprise customers with a need for network and service fault management can consider Cisco Info Center. Customers who are interested in continuing with the Network Connectivity Center (NCC) technology beyond the end-of-life date should inquire directly with EMC Corporation, Cisco's OEM supplier for this product.
Cisco will continue to provide support to customers who have a current and valid service contract with Cisco for Cisco Network Connectivity Center products, up to one year after the product end-of-sale date. Please note that Cisco will provide relevant bug fixes, but not feature enhancements, up until end of support. Customers who bought support contracts from Cisco directly and would like to migrate support to EMC direct, please contact your Cisco account manager or customer service representative. Customers who bought support contracts from Cisco distribution partners and would like to migrate support to EMC direct, please contact the respective distributors. Customers looking to enter a new support contract should contact EMC directly.

Customers who are interested in continuing with the NCC technology beyond the end-of-life date should inquire directly with EMC, Cisco's OEM supplier for this product. EMC plans to continue sales and support of the NCC technology.
