Search Video Services

Field	Description
Delete Selected	To delete a video service, check the check box to the left of the display name, and select Delete Selected.
Add New	To add a video service, select the Add New button. A new page opens, on which you enter data applicable to the new video service. Note Cisco Unity Connection 10.0(1) allows you to add only one video service at a time. The Add New button displays an error message when you try to add the second video service.
Display Name	(Display only) The name of the video service.
Media Type	(Display only) The type of media server to which the video service connects, which is MediaSense.
Status	(Display only) Shows the successful communication with video server using the following images: •Success image: Displays No problems found when the video service is added. When the administrator selects this image, Cisco Unity Connection displays the successful status on the Task Execution Results page. •Warning image: Displays One or more problems found when the video service is added. When the administrator selects this image, Cisco Unity Connection displays the error status on the Task Execution Results page. The Task Execution Results page displays the following information: •Video server state: Displays whether Unity Connection is able to ping the IP address, FQDN, or the hostname of video server. •Video server certificates: Displays the failure while validating video server certificates. •Credentials verification: Displays the authentication results of user credentials on video server. •Media capabilities: Displays the list of codecs used with video server.

New Video Service

Field	Description
Type	Select MediaSense.
Enabled	Check this check box to allow Cisco Unity Connection to access video server specified by this service, or uncheck the check box to prevent access.
Display Name	Enter a descriptive name for the service. Note Cisco Unity Connection 10.0(1) allows you to add only one video service at a time.
Video Servers	Enter the details of the video server you want to access: •Video Server(1): Enter the fully qualified domain name (FQDN), hostname, or IP address of the video server that you want Cisco Unity Connection to access.. Note The Video Server(1) field only support IPv4 address. •Port: Enter the port number of the video server you want to access. •Allow Self Signed Certificate for Video Server: This option establishes an unsecure communication with the video server. –If this check box is checked, the self-signed or third-party certificates installed at video server does not gets validated on Unity Connection and the video calls gets established using the non-trusted certificates installed on Unity Connection. –If this check box is not checked, the third-party signed certificates installed at video server gets validated. Make sure that the third-party signed certificates consist of the root certificate to establish a video call.
Video Thresholds	Concurrent Sessions: Enter the maximum number of video sessions. Cisco Unity Connection 10.0(1) supports only 25 video sessions at a time.
Test	Select the Test button to ensure that the successful communication with the specified video server. When the administrator selects the Test button, Cisco Unity Connection verifies the connectivity with video server and displays the status on the Task Execution Results page: •Video server state: Displays whether Unity Connection is able to ping the IP address, FQDN, or hostname of the video server. •Video server certificates: Displays the failure while validating video server certificates. •Credentials verification: Displays the authentication results of user credentials on video server. •Media capabilities: Displays the list of codecs used with video server.

Edit Video Service

Field	Description
Type	(Display Only) For video services that access video server, this value is MediaSense.
Enabled	Check the Enabled check box to allow Cisco Unity Connection to access video server specified by this service, or uncheck the check box to prevent access.
Display Name	Enter a display name that will simplify selecting the correct video service for each user.
Video Server	Enter the details of the video server you want to access: •Video Server: Enter the fully qualified domain name (FQDN), server name, or IP address of the video server that you want Cisco Unity Connection to access. •Port: Enter the port number of the video server that you want to access.
Video Service Account	Enter the details of the video service account you want to access: •Username: Enter the video service account username of the video service. •Password: Enter the password for the video service account that you entered in the Username field. •Allow Self Signed Certificate for Video Servers: This option is used to establish either a secure or an unsecure communication with the video server. In secure mode, third-party certificates of the video server are validated at Unity Connection and in non-secure mode, there is no certificate validation. –In non-secure mode, this check box is checked and the self-signed or third-party certificates installed at video server does not gets validated on Unity Connection. –In secure mode, this check box is not checked and the third-party signed certificates installed at video server gets validated. Make sure that the third-party signed certificates consist of the root certificate to establish a video call.

Field	Description
Status	(Display only) An icon that indicates the status of the video service account for a Cisco Unity Connection user. To identify whether the configuration of the video service account with video service is successful or not, click the status icon: •Success image: Displays No problems found when the video service is added. When the administrator selects this image, Cisco Unity Connection displays the successful status on the Task Execution Results page. •Warning image: Displays One or more problems found when the video service is added. When the administrator selects this image, Cisco Unity Connection displays the error status on the Task Execution Results page. The Task Execution Results page displays the following information: •Video service enabled: Displays whether the user has enabled the video service or not. •Video server state: Displays whether Unity Connection is able to ping the IP address, FQDN, or hostname of the video server. •Credentials verification: Displays the authentication results of user credentials on video server. •Media capabilities: Displays the list of codecs used with the video server. •Video capabilities: Displays whether the video settings in the Edit Class of Service page are enabled or not.
Alias	The Cisco Unity Connection alias of the user with which the video service account is associated.
Display Name	The display name of the user with which the video service account is associated.
Video Service	The name of the video service that the video service account uses.
Service Type	The type of server to which the video service account connects.
Enabled	Displays whether the video service account is associated or not with the specified video service.
