This chapter contains Cisco TelePresence Recording Server (CTRS) unset commands:

unset network dns options

unset network domain

unset network dns options

unset network dns options [timeout] [attempts] [rotate]

Syntax Description

timeout

Defaults the wait time before considering a Domain Name System (DNS) query to have failed.

attempts

Defaults the number of attempts to make before failing.

rotate

Defaults the method for selecting a name server; this affects how loads are distributed across name servers.

Usage Guidelines

Use this command to unset the Domain Name System (DNS) options. This command causes a temporary loss of network connections.

Examples

admin:unset network dns options timeout
          ***   W A R N I N G   ***
This will cause the system to temporarily lose network connectivity
          Do you want to continue ?
Enter "yes" to continue or any other key to abort
yes
executing...

This command unsets the domain name.

The system asks whether you want to continue to execute this command.


Caution If you continue, the system will restart.
