All governmental entities within a state are generally eligible to use NASPO ValuePoint contracts, if the governmental entity has the legal authority to use their home state's contracts.     For Political Subdivisions: If your State does not have a Participating Addendum with Cisco and does not plan to execute one, but your agency or entity wishes to use Cisco's NASPO ValuePoint Minnesota Computer Equipment Master Agreement please do the following:

Your Procurement Director must obtain prior written approval from your State's Chief Procurement Officer in order to participate under the terms of Cisco's NASPO ValuePoint Minnesota Computer Equipment Master Agreement. Please be advised that it is Cisco's preference to hold a Participating Addendum at the State level so that all eligible public sector entities within the State can use the procurement vehicle. However, Cisco will consider all requests by individual entities and respond accordingly.

Overview of Products, Services, and Peripherals Offered

Under the Band 4 - Servers category, Cisco is pleased to offer its portfolio of Server/Unified Computing System products, technical and advanced services, and related peripherals. Below is a summary of each of our offerings included in our proposal.

Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Products

Cisco UCS and servers unified computing, networking, management, virtualization, and storage access into a single integrated architecture. This unique architecture enables end-to-end server visibility, management, and control in both bare metal and virtual environments. Included in our response are the following: UCS Servers, UCS Server and Systems Management, Fabric Interconnects and Fabric Extenders, Server I/O Adapters, Storage Accelerators and GPUs, Blade Servers for Routers, Rack, and Power Infrastructure. In addition, as Cisco adds additional server products to its portfolio, we are pleased to include those offerings as well.

Technical and Advanced Service Offerings

Cisco is pleased to offer its portfolio of Advanced Services, Technical Support/Maintenance Services. Depending on the service selected, they are purchased as a subscription, fixed price, or with a statement of work.

Related Peripherals

  • Fibre Channel Switching, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, and Related Services:
    Cisco Unified Fabric consolidates separate LAN, SAN, and server cluster network environments into a single unified network. Multi-hop FCoE support in Cisco storage networks lets you mix and match Fibre Channel and FCoE anywhere in a SAN with the same scalability and management tools regardless of the protocol mix.
  • Security Products and Related Services:
    To provide customers with flexibility for securing their data center servers, Cisco is pleased to offer its portfolio of networking switches and related services as peripherals under the contract.
  • Switching Products and Related Services:
    To provide customers with flexibility for integration into network infrastructure, Cisco is pleased to offer its portfolio of networking switches and related services as peripherals under the contract.
  • Routing Products and Related Services:
    To provide customers with flexibility for integration into network infrastructure, Cisco is pleased to offer its portfolio of routers and related services as peripherals under the contract.
  • Wireless Products and Related Services:
    To provide customers with flexibility for integration into network infrastructure, Cisco is pleased to offer its portfolio of wireless products and related services as peripherals under the contract.
  • Third Party Products - Subject to WSCA NASPO Minnesota's approval, Cisco may from time to time provide approved third-party products as part of its solutions under the awarded category.

Pricing and Discounts

Contract pricing is benchmarked to Cisco's current US Availability Global Price List as updated during the contract term. Minimum contract discounts off the Cisco US Availability Global Price List have been established for eligible purchasers. The minimum discounts offered by Cisco is firm for the contract term. However, additional incremental discounts may be offered during the term by Cisco Authorized Resellers in addition to the minimum, guaranteed discounts offered by Cisco.

Product Discount: 35%

Additional Discounts - Request a quote for discounts on bulk/volume purchases.

Additional, incremental discounts may be provided by Cisco's authorized partners at the transaction level based on a variety of factors such as volume, technology, deal/opportunity size and/or multi-year purchases (i.e. qualification for leasing arrangements).

Partner Services: Basic installation, configuration, project management, staging/deployment and/or asset tagging (as applicable) are available through many of Cisco's authorized partners at Not-to-Exceed rates: Onsite $500/hour; Remote $425/hour. Call authorized partners for services available and quote.

Cisco Learning Credits: Available for purchase @ $100 per credit. Also, Cisco's authorized partners may provide customized training. Call authorized partners for quote.

General Consulting/Professional Services by Cisco (i.e. Advanced Services): Not-to-exceed rates as provided along with how to procure details as set forth in Tables 3 and 4 of Cisco's Cost Proposal which are posted on the contract vendor website. Call Cisco's authorized partners for quote - they will coordinate with Cisco Services on Statement of Work (SOW) and pricing.

Authorized Cisco Resellers (TBD)

Cisco has authorized certain Cisco qualified resellers to resell Cisco Products and Services under this buying vehicle. Prequalified resellers are authorized to directly take orders from authorized purchasers as well as invoice and receive payment under this contract.
