Students and faculty at the Namibia University of Science and Technology rely on their mobile devices to access educational content. Outside of high-density areas such as classrooms, it was difficult to access the wireless network. The university needed to cost-effectively boost coverage and bandwidth to support the demand for campus-wide wireless connectivity.

Outcomes

The university now has a wireless access strategy that blankets the entire campus with connectivity. It boosts bandwidth and performance for a better mobility experience anywhere on campus. It will also help encourage adoption of Cisco WebEx for training and distance learning, and positions the university to meet next-generation needs.
