Problem Description
The SNMP OID in the SCE8000 chassis IDPROM may contain a wrong value of cisco7604 instead of SCE8000. As a result, the chassis information in the entity MIB may show the value 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.1.42 (cisco7604) instead of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.650 (SCE8000).
Background
Wrong usage of 7600 chassis OID in SCE8000 chassis (which is derived from the 7600 chassis).
Problem Symptoms
With the SCE8000 running OS version 3.1.6S and through SNMP viewing the entity MIB, the value of the field entPhysicalVendorType.1 may be workgroup.1.2.1.42 instead of ciscoModules.3.1.3.650.
Workaround/Solution
Solution
In SCA-BB version 3.1.7 and 3.5.0, this problem will be resolved by the corresponding SCOS software.
Therefore, upgrade to SCA-BB 3.1.7 or 3.5.0 once the bugfix is included.Workaround
