Problem Description
Users may not be able to enter the meeting room or load the presenter add-in when using Adobe Flash version 10 with MeetingPlace Web Conferencing 6.0 and later or MeetingPlace Express versions 2.0.3.35 and earlier.
Background
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing:
When used with Adobe Flash version 10, specific affected versions of Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing 6.0 are:
-6.0 (6.0.171.0)
-6.0MR1 (6.0.244.0)
-6.0MR2 (6.0.361.0)
-6.0MR3 (6.0.417.0)Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express:
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express versions 2.0.3.35 and earlier may be affected when used with Adobe Flash version 10.
This problem affects both Windows and MAC platforms.
Problem Symptoms
When trying to enter a MeetingPlace Web 6.0.x or MeetingPlace Express 2.0.3.35 or earlier meeting room with Adobe Flash version 10, the user may be prompted with the following error message and will be unable to join the meeting room:
"Breeze Live requires Flash Player 6.0.65 or newer."
Also, users who do not have the presenter add-in already installed on their system will not be prompted to install the presenter add-in and therefore will not be able to share applications.
Workaround/Solution
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing:
For the issue where users are not able to join a MeetingPlace Web 6.0 meeting room with Adobe Flash version 10, there is a hotfix available. Please contact Cisco TAC to obtain the MeetingPlace Web 6.0 hotfix and installation instructions.For the issue where users users are not prompted to install the presenter add-in upon entering the meeting room with Adobe Flash version 10, the workaround is to install the presenter add-in from the "Install Cisco Unified Presenter Add-In" link present on the MeetingPlace Web home page and rejoin the meeting. This workaround only applies to users who have administrative rights to install software on their own computer.
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express:
For the issue where users are not able to join a MeetingPlace Express meeting room with Adobe Flash version 10, there is a hotfix available. Please contact Cisco TAC to obtain the MeetingPlace Express hotfix and installation instructions.
