Problem Description
The power supply (341-0175-03) associated with Product ID AIR-WLC2006-K9 has experienced some intermittent failures for failing to meet the requirements for minimum current flow.
Background
In an effort to address this issue for our customers who could be potentially affected, Cisco moved to release AIR-PWR-2006-AC= (ECO #E089232) to specifically provide a replacement Power Supply due to the fact that AIR-WLC2006-K9 has been announced for End of Life (EOL5117) effective April 2, 2007.
Eol Announcement for AIR-WLC2006-K9
AIR-WLC2006-K9 was shipped with a power adapter part number 341-0175-03 and a controller.
Release of the AIR-PWR-2006-AC= facilitates the need to replace just the power adapter.
Problem Symptoms
Intermittent failure of the power supply adapter. Unit will fail to power on.
Workaround/Solution
Customers who experience this issue are instructed to contact the Cisco TAC for assistance.
The Cisco TAC engineers can RMA the power supply through the normal RMA process, using the replacement part #AIR-PWR-2006-AC=.
