CiscoWorks QoS Policy Manager 3.2
Cisco Systems® announces the availability of CiscoWorks QoS Policy Manager (QPM) 3.2. CiscoWorks QPM enables end-to-end quality of service (QoS) for converged data, voice, and video networks. As part of the CiscoWorks solution family, CiscoWorks QPM 3.2 combines traffic monitoring and configuration of Differentiated Services (DiffServ) across the IP infrastructure by using the QoS mechanisms built into Cisco® routers and switches.
The following features are new in CiscoWorks QoS Policy Manager 3.2:

Enhanced QoS management reliability and performance
•
Uses Ciscoworks Common Services 2.2 for graphical, web-based management
•
Additional device support, including: Cisco Catalyst® 3750 and Catalyst 6500 Policy Feature Card 3 (PFC3) andMultilayer Switch Feature Card 3 (MSFC3) switch support
•
More Cisco IOS® Software feature support, including Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 and QoS on tunnel interfaces
•
Added support for Japanese-OS based Windows

Availability
CiscoWorks QPM 3.2 20-device restricted license and unrestricted device license products will begin shipping February 13, 2004. Customers who want to purchase these products can place orders through their normal sales channels beginning January 30, 2004. Existing CiscoWorks QPM 3.0 or 3.1 20-device restricted license and unrestricted device usage license customers with current Cisco Software Application Support (SAS) contracts can request the CiscoWorks QPM 3.2 20-device restricted usage license or unrestricted device usage license update kits using theirservice contract number at http://www.cisco.com/upgrade beginning January 30, 2004.
Ordering Information
Table 1 contains part numbers commonly used to order CiscoWorks QPM 3.2. Thisproduct includes strong encryption technologies, which are restricted for some types of U.S. export.
Existing Products Affected
With the availability of CiscoWorks QPM 3.2, Cisco is announcing the end of sale for the products listed in Table 2. Cisco will continue to offer extended support contracts for older versions, as indicated in the table.
