String of Characters to be Used in Changing the Password of the NSS2000

When changing the default "admin" password, create a minimum of 8 characters and have at least 3 of the following:

1. A lower case/upper case letters
2. Integer (0-9)
3. Special characters (! @ # $ % ^ * ~ , . / ?)

Step 1:
From the Manager Menu, click Admin then Password

Step 2:
Enter the current password in the Current Password field "admin".

Step 3:
Enter the new Created Password in both New Password and Confirm Password fields.

Step 4:
Click Update for changes to take effect.

Note: Pressing the Reset button on the NSS chassis will restore the NSS to factory default settings. "admin" is the default password of the Linksys NSS2000.
