Q. How to access the setup page for NSS2050?
A.Complete these steps in order to access the setup page for NSS2050:
Step 1:
If there is no DHCP server present on your network, configure your computer's network settings as follows: 169.254.x.y (where x and y can be any number between 1 and 254). For example, 169.254.1.2.Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0. If you have a DHCP server, check the DHCP address assigned to the device. You may access the NSS2050 by typing http://<NSS2000-ip-address> (e.g., http://192.168.146.253). Proceed to Step 4 if you have a DHCP server.Step 2:
Write down the MAC address located on the sticker attached to the bottom of the NSS2050 unit.Step 3:
Open a web browser on your computer and enter the following in the Address field: http://<NAS-MAC-address-of-NSS-unit>.Step 4:
In the Login window, enter admin in the User name field and admin in the Password field. Click OK. The NSS configuration interface appears and the configuration wizard automatically begins.
Step 5:
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the basic configuration. After completing the basic configuration, change the administration password as described in the NSS2050 Administration Guide.
