Q. Where can I find the mail exchange (MX) records to use for ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection?
A. You must redirect MX records to point to the ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection servers in order for emails to be filtered.
After ProtectLink Gateway is registered, you receive a welcome email that contains information on which MX records to use and the result of the test email.
Do not change the MX records until you receive the test email. If you do not receive the welcome or the test email, send an email to imhs_support@trendmicro.com.
Note: When you modify MX records, the full transition (DNS propagation) can take up to 48 hours. Do not discontinue any on-premise security during this time. You can still receive some email directly until the transition period completes.
