Q. I changed the IP address of my receiving mail server. How can I set ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection to continue forwarding emails to my domain?
A.If you want ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection reconfigured to forward mail to a new IP address, file a case with Linksys and provide the following information:
- Account name and account level
- Domain name
- Email address under the domain name (for test email)
- New IP address
- Requestor's name
- Requestor's email address
INTERNAL INFORMATION:
To Linksys support engineers: If the customer wants ProtectLink Gateway Email Protection reconfigured to forward mail to a new IP address, escalate to Trend Micro via imhs_support@trendmicro.com and provide the following information:
- Account name and account level
- Domain name
- Email address under the domain name (for test email)
- New IP address
- Requestor's name
- Requestor's email address
- Copy of the customer's email request
