Introduction
This document describes how to resolve the "Update Failed for the Service(s)" error received on the Unified Presence Server when you try to start services on a new subscriber.
How do you resolve the error received on the Unified Presence Server when you try to start services on a new subscriber?
This error message is displayed when the Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS) Subscriber node has not been added to the DetaultCUPSubcluster once the second node is installed.
- Browse to Cisco Unified Presence Server Admin Page > System > Cluster Topology > Subclusters. Drag the newly installed Cisco Unfiied Presence Subsriber to the DefaultCUPSubcluster.
- Activate the services.
