Q. What can I do if the Base/Handset icon of the phone is flashing?
A.If the Base/Handset icon of the Cordless Internet Telephony Kit is flashing, this means the handset is not registered or the handset is out of range. If the handset is unregistered, it will display UNREGISTERED. To register the handset, follow the steps below.
Registering the Handset
Step 1:
Press MENU on your handset options.Step 2:
Go to SYSTEM then click OK.Step 3:
Select REGISTER then click OK.Step 4:
Enter the PIN code then click OK. The default pin code is "0000".Step 5:
You will see a confirmation screen when the registration is completed.?Note: If registration is successful, the handset will display its name and number. The Base/Handset Link icon, which indicates the link between your phone and the base unit, will display steadily with the battery icon. This state is referred as standby.
Step 6:
If the Base/Handset icon is still flashing, move the handset closer to the base unit.
