End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the Cisco BPX 9.2, Cisco IGX 9.2, Cisco MGX 1.1.3x, Cisco MGX 2.x, Cisco Service Expansion Shelf (SES) 1.1.7x, Cisco WAN Manager 10.5, and Cisco Network Modeling Tool 9.3 Software Versions.

Cisco Systems^® announces the end of life of the Cisco^® BPX^® 9.2, Cisco IGX 9.2, Cisco MGX^® 1.1.3x, Cisco MGX 2.x, SES 1.1.7x, Cisco IGX 9.2, MGX 1.1.3x, Cisco MGX 2.x, SES 1.1.7x, Cisco WAN Manager 10.5, and Cisco Network Modeling Tool 9.3 is July 28, 2004. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 28, 2009. Please note that CWM TAC support is for 3 years (July 28, 2007). Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected software versions.

Customers are encouraged to upgrade to the Cisco BPX 9.3 or 9.4; IGX 9.3 or 9.4, MGX 1.2.20, 3.0, or 4.0; and SES 4.0; Cisco WAN Manager 11 or 12, and Cisco Network Modeling Tool 11 or 12 (dependant on the Cisco WAN Manager software version) to take advantage of enhanced features and bug fixes.

End of software maintenance releases date	The last date that Cisco Engineering may release any final software maintenance releases or bug fixes. After this date, Cisco Engineering will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software.	July 28, 2006
End of new service attachment date	For equipment and software that is not covered by a service-and-support contract, this is the last date to order a new service-and-support contract or add the equipment and/or software to an existing service-and-support contract.	July 28, 2005
End of service contract renewal date	The last date to extend or renew a service contract for the product. The extension or renewal period cannot extend beyond the last date of support.	July 28, 2008
Last date of support	The last date to receive service and support for the product. After this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete.	July 28, 2009
