Revised Memory Recommendations
The Cisco IOS images in Table 5 below represent the revised recommended minimum memory requirements for use with the Cisco 2600 and Cisco 3600 series platforms. These recommendations are for current and future 12.2T Releases, including 12.2(2)XT. Some Cisco IOS feature sets will exceed the maximum limitations of the current Cisco 2600 or Cisco 3620 platforms. Those Cisco IOS feature sets will no longer be orderable for those platforms.

Addition of Cisco IOS "Enterprise Basic" Image for Cisco 2600 and Cisco 3620
As more features are added to the current mix of Enterprise features, additional memory requirements are needed to run these images. This has affected some platforms such as the Cisco 261x, Cisco 262x and Cisco 3620, since these platforms only support a maximum of 64MB of DRAM or a maximum of 16MB of Flash (Cisco 261x only). In order to address the need for Enterprise features that are affected by memory constraints on these platforms, Enterprise Basic is a new image to address this need. The list price for this new image is priced below the current Enterprise Plus image on both the Cisco 2600 and Cisco 3620 platforms. Please refer to product price list for further information or contact your Cisco Account Manager.
