End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement
for the Cisco IP Phone 7910G
Cisco Systems® announces the end of life of the Cisco® IP Phone 7910G. The last day to order the Cisco IP Phone 7910G will be July 28, 2004. Customers with the appropriate support contract may continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 28, 2009. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco IP Phone 7910G. Table 2 lists the part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco IP Phone 7905G or IP Phone 7912G, which provide a pixel display and advanced capabilities for XML applications for a less-expensive list price. The Cisco IP Phone 7905G and IP Phone 7912G require Cisco CallManager version 3.3 or later. For those customers who are running Cisco CallManager versions 3.2 or earlier or who have standardized on the form factor of the IP Phone 7910 platform, the Cisco IP Phone 7910G+SW will continue to be orderable.

The recommended replacement for the Cisco IP Phone 7910G is the Cisco IP Phone 7905G (Table 3), which provides a pixel display and advanced capabilities for XML applications for a less-expensive list price.
