for NEBS3E Shelf Assembly
Cisco ONS 15454

This product bulletin serves as formal notification that the shelf assembly version, listed in table 1 below, for the ONS 15454 metro optical transport platform, will reach its End of Life stages according to the dates outlined in table 2 below.

End of Support (EoSu)	January 15, 2007	Cisco Technical Assistance Centers will no longer support this product. Replacements for return and repair will no longer be available

The ONS 15454 circuit packs listed above in table 1 will be replaced by the following circuits packs, listed in table 3.

Backward Compatibility

•Equipment Functionality—The listed replacement shelf assembly is functionally equivalent to the EoL products. The replacement shelf assembly interoperates with all the existing common control cards and multi-service interface cards currently available for the ONS 15454.

•Software Support—The replacement product name will operate with existing system software. No new software will be required to support the replacement product.
