End of Life Announcement for the Cisco ONS 15454 Timing and Control Card (15454-TCC)
This Product Bulletin serves as formal notification that the Cisco ONS 15454 Timing and Control Card (TCC) will reach its End of Sales and End of Life Milestones on the dates listed in the table below:

Cisco Technical Assistance Centers will no longer support this product. Replacements for return and repair will no longer be available.
The new TCC+ will be the replacement product. It will be available for shipment in September 2000.

15454-TCC+
The new TCC+ will be the required processor card for SW releases beyond R2.2.0. Both the TCC and the TCC+ will work with R2.2.0.
Software Support on the TCC and TCC+
•Cisco ONS 15454 System Software Release 2.2.0 (R2.2.0) will be available in September 2000 along with the TCC+ card. R2.2.0 will be the transition load. It runs on either the TCC or the TCC+.
•The TCC+ will not run on ONS 15454 System Software Release 2.1.0 (R2.1.0). Customers who intend to upgrade their networks to R2.2.0 are encouraged to upgrade their processors to the TCC+.
