End of Life Announcement for Commercial Temperature (C-Temp) cards for Cisco ONS 15327 Multiservice Platform
This product bulletin serves as formal notification that the ONS 15327 circuit packs outlined below in Table 1 will reach End of Life (EOL) status according to the EOL schedule listed in Table 2. In an on-going effort to deliver the best in class optical transport solutions, Cisco will be phasing out the C-Temp circuit packs and will introduce enhanced Industrial Temperature (I-Temp) rated for operation at -40 to 65° Celsius.

Backward Compatibility
•Equipment Functionality—The listed replacement product names (circuit packs) are functionally equivalent to the EoL products. The replacement circuit packs are qualified for Industrial Temperature (I-Temp) conditions to operate at -40 to 65(Celsius, non-condensing operating environment. Replacement circuit packs and assemblies can be distinguished with a `-T' part number suffix and may also be distinguished by the thermometer symbol on the card faceplate.
–The replacement circuit packs can operate in systems and networks with the EoL circuit packs
–Fan Tray Assembly, 15327-FTA(=) are currently I-Temp rated. New 15327 I-Temp circuit packs can be installed in existing FTAs to meet I-Temp operating conditions.
•Software Support—Replacement product names will operate with existing system software. No new software will be required to support the replacement products.
