The Cisco 5x20S Broadband Processing Engine for the Cisco uBR10012 features dedicated media access control (MAC) layer hardware for maximum performance in large-scale cable deployments. This cable interface features five downstream modulators, five upconverters, and 20 upstream burst receivers on a single line card that embeds the most advanced RF capabilities.
