Cisco Content Engine Series: CE-560-CDN and

CE-507-CDN End of Sales Announcement

Cisco Systems announces the end of sale for the following Cisco Content Engine products: CE-560-CDN and CE-507-CDN. The following content engine products are not affected by this announcement: CE-507, CE-507AV-CDN, CE-560, CE-560AV-CDN, CE-590, and CE-7320. The Cisco Applications and Content Networking System (ACNS) software makes the CE-560-CDN equivalent to the CE-560, and the CE-507-CDN equivalent to the CE-507. The unique model numbers were created to differentiate the software, but the software loaded onto each model number is now the same. There is no longer a need to maintain the two model numbers.

End of production to occur June 21, 2002. However, the CE-507 and CE-560 will continue to be produced.
