Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® SOHO 78 G.SHDSL and Cisco 828 G.SHDSL routers. The last day to order the affected products is March 31, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until March 31, 2011. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected products. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco 878 Integrated Services Router, which allows small offices to operate secure concurrent services, including firewall, VPN, and wireless LAN. Information about the replacement product can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6203/index.html. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.
