Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco® SFS 7000 and SFS 7008 (formerly the Topspin 120 and 270. The last day to order the affected products is 01-JUN-2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until 01-JUL-2011.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected products. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco SFS 7000P and SFS 7008P, which offer the same features and functionality as the Cisco SFS 7000 and SFS 7008 as well as support for optical connections and RoHS compliance (Table 3).
