Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for certain Cisco SFS 3000 Series, SFS 7000 Series, and Accessories in the European Union countries. The last day to order the affected product is May 30, 2006. European Union countires customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until November 30, 2011.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the new product identifications that annotate products with identical form, fit or function of the end-of-sale/end-of-life products. Table 2 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.

The recommended replacement for EOS / EOL product identification Cisco SFS 3000 Series, SFS 7000 Series, and Accessories is the new set of product identifications for Cisco SFS 3000 Series, SFS 7000 Series, and Accessories.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the new product identifications for Cisco SFS 3000 Series, SFS 7000 Series, and accessories. Information about this product can be found at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6418/index.html. The new product identifications of Cisco SFS 3000 Series, SFS 7000 Series, and accessories have the same form, fit, and function as their older- product-identification counterparts.
Customers can use the Cisco Technology Migration Plan (TMP) to trade in products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about Cisco TMP, go to http://www.cisco.com/go/tradein/. The Cisco TMP application requires all users to have a Cisco.com user ID.
