Cisco SFS 7000P single date rate (SDR) InfiniBand server switches offer 10 Gbps link rate connectivity. Cisco has been offering the SFS 7000D double data rate (DDR) InfiniBand product line for more than one year. The DDR product line offers 20 Gbps link rate connectivity from port to port. Additionally, all DDR switches from Cisco are fully backward-compatible with SDR InfiniBand switches and host channel adapters (HCAs). The DDR ports can automatically negotiate to SDR link speed when connected to a SDR link.
Table 2. Product Part Numbers Affected by This Announcement
* Cisco has linecards and fabric modules available for DDR chassis. However DDR linecards and fabric modules are not backwards compatible with SDR chassis. Please refer to the data sheet to find a compatible linecard and fabric module for a SFS-7012D or a SFS-7024D chassis.
