Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® ONS 15302 Multiservice Customer Access Platform Release 1.x software and hardware. The last day to order the affected products is January 31, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until January 31, 2009, for the application software and January 31, 2011, for the hardware and OS.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected products. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco ONS 15302 Release 2.x or later, which is a superset of the items supported with Release 1.x and provides a more effective solution. PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for the Cisco ONS 15302 Release 1.x items are the Release 2.x items shown in Table 2.
