Cisco IOS Software Releases 12.4 T

This product bulletin serves as formal notification of the discontinuation of support for the MultiNode Load Balancing (MNLB) forwarding agent feature on all Cisco platforms except the Cisco Catalyst 6000 switch. The capability to configure MNLB will be removed from Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4T, an up-coming release.

Support for MNLB on the Cisco Catalyst 6000 switch will continue to be provided in the Release 12.2S family of releases, running on supervisors up to, and including, the Sup720. There are no plans to provide MNLB support for supervisors beyond the Sup720.

Sales and maintenance support will continue in current releases until these releases reach End of Engineering (EOE).
