Audience and Use

The Cluster Configuration and Administration Guide for Cisco Unity Connection is intended for installers, system administrators, and technicians who are installing and configuring, customizing, or administering Cisco Unity Connection clusters.

The guide contains instructions for configuring and using a Unity Connection cluster, as well as information on how a Unity Connection cluster works. You configure a Unity Connection cluster after installing the publisher server according to instructions in the Installation Guide for Cisco Unity Connection.

Angle brackets are used around parameters for which you supply a value. (Example: In your browser, go to https://<Cisco Unity Connection server IP address>/cuadmin.)

(hyphen)

Hyphens separate keys that must be pressed simultaneously. (Example: Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.)

(right angle bracket)

A right angle bracket is used to separate selections that you make in the navigation bar of Cisco Unity Connection Administration. (Example: In Cisco Unity Connection Administration, go to Contacts > System Contacts.)

Documentation References to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition

The name of the product known as Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition in versions 9.0 and earlier has been changed to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition 5000 in versions 9.0.

Cisco Unity Connection 10.x no longer supports Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition 5000.
