This preface describes the objectives and organization of this command reference for the Cisco Videoscape Distribution Suite Origin Server (VDS-OS) Release 2.1.1.

This command reference is intended for networking professionals using the VDS-OS. Before using this guide, you should have experience working with the VDS-OS and the concepts and terminology of Ethernet and local area networking.
