Why doesn't my VSX7000 display CIF H.264 at 30 fps when connected to a Cisco TelePresence MCU?
The VSX 7000 is designed to use a resolution of SIF (which is a slightly lower resolution than CIF) in regions that use NTSC. SIF can be displayed at 30 frames per second (fps) using H.264. CIF resolution, commonly used in PAL-based systems can be displayed at 25 fps using H.264.
If the frame rate is the most important factor for you, go to Setting > Conferences and set Motion /sharpness tradeoff to Prefer motion to ensure that 30 fps is always maintained. (For information about this setting, see the online help.)
