Partners participating in Cisco's Cloud and Managed Services Program (CMSP) must meet various Cisco requirements to prove the ability to develop, deliver, manage, and support Cisco based cloud and managed service solutions. CMSP partners have demonstrated IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation processes, practices, and tools to support Cisco technologies at all lifecycle phases.

The Cisco Master Service Provider badge and certification recognizes an exclusive group of partners with the highest level of competency and capabilities. These partners are uniquely positioned to offer best-in-class Cisco Powered services which are validated to insure security, reliability, and performance. A Master level CMSP partner has passed a third-party architectural and services audit. Master Service Providers will have a minimum of one CCIE engineer and multiple proven customer references.

The Cisco Advanced CMSP Certification is for partners who provide a minimum of one Cisco Powered service and have at least one CCxP on their Cisco team. These partners must also pass a yearly third-party architecture and service audit, and verify proven customer successes.
Express level Cloud and Managed Services certification recognizes partners with expertise in the prepare, plan, design, and implement phases of the lifecycle in selling and supporting cloud or managed services based on Cisco platforms. These partners can offer services either through their own network operations center (NOC) or by entering into a contractual relationship for service-level management with a third-party NOC provider. They are responsible for managing the customer relationship, and represent the cloud or managed services they sell as their own. They must have a minimum of one CCNA on their Cisco team.

Complementary to the Cloud and Managed Services certified partners, the Services Reseller is a current Cisco Channel Partner who has contracted with a Master or Advanced CMSP Partner to resell or OEM the CMSP Partner’s Cisco Powered Cloud Service or Cisco Powered Managed Service.
Cisco validates that the Services Reseller has dedicated Cisco Powered sales and support teams.
