Remote Experience
The IoE Remote Experience Lab gives hands-on experience of Cisco IoE solutions to anyone from Cisco Networking Academy partner universities, providing learning materials to developer communities throughout the world. Developers can remotely access the lab anytime, anywhere to control the third-party devices that are integrated with the Cisco Smart+Connected Residential platform.
The Cisco GCoE Solution Incubation Program links a broad Cisco ecosystem to create and deliver solutions around the Cisco IoE platform with the Korean government agencies such as IFEZA, MSIP, and NIPA. The IoE Innovation Center accelerates the ability to seize new market opportunities and capture the value of IoE because it:
Builds an ecosystem to collaborate with industry, academia, and government together
Establishes a network to help each ecosystem member through the IoT and IoE Innovation Cluster in Incheon, Korea
Creates a global network through the global Cisco innovation network

Cisco IoE World at Cisco Connect
The IoE solutions incubated/developed at the GCoE were successfully demonstrated at the IoE World booth at Cisco Connect 2015, which was led by Cisco Korea and it’s marketing team. The GCoE took the ownership of the IoE World booth setup and demonstration and it was beautifully displayed with the tagline of Cisco innovation centre, “Powering Innovation for the Internet of Everything”, highlighted.
The IoE World booth drew a great deal of attention from the customers on site, demonstrating that the IoE is real and it is strongly driven by the Solution Incubation program under the GCoE.
IoE Solutions featured
In a smart factory environment, you can achieve predictive maintenance with the solutions offered by Cisco together with our partners, N3N, Namoo and Rockwell. Let me explain how it works. Sensors and Rockwell’s automation systems (PLCs) are integrated with Namoo’s middleware platform (CoreCode) to monitor production lines from N3N’s Integrated Operation Center (IOC), where N3N solution visualizes real-time data on dashboard as well as alerts the operators the events/alarms. This helps a plant manager to get immediate support from the SMEs through Cisco solutions such as Remote Expert and IPICS’ Dispatch/Response. 
The Smart Parking Solution is leveraging video analytics in IP cameras to bring your typical experience in a car park to the next level, saving your time and money. The IP camera-based solution guides a driver to the nearest parking slot available and also when you depart it will guide you to the parking space where your car is parked. It also enhances security within a parking lot supported by IP camera integrated emergency bell. 
Smart Building solution is based on CEM (Cisco Energywise Management), which helps you measure and manage the energy use of all the connected devices across your distributed office and data center environments as well as basement parking lots. It can also measure and manage non-IT devices such as light bulbs and water purifier by connecting them to IP-based smart plugs.
Smart Safety Zone Solution is an optimal solution to enhance safety and security at crosswalks and crossroads. It can do that by having sensors installed on traffic signals and other peripherals which detects pedestrians and vehicles pattern and sends that data to “Fog Computing”. “Fog Computing” then will compute the data to control tower which it alerts pedestrian when jaywalking, controls the stop line violation (big data on traffic flow and stop line violation) and helps identify car accident causes.
