Adding Fast Ethernet Port to
Cisco uBR7246VXR Universal Broadband Router Bundles

With the imminent end of sale (EOS) of the single Fast Ethernet port I/O controller (UBR7200-I/O-FE) for the Cisco uBR7200 Series Universal Broadband Router in
Q2 CY2002, the Cable BU upgraded the current Cisco uBR7246VXR bundles to have an additional Fast Ethernet port by introducing the dual port Fast Ethernet I/O controller (UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E).
Effective January 2002, these bundles replaced the UBR7200-I/O-FE controller with the UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E controller. List prices of these bundles have been adjusted upward by a price delta of U.S. $900 between the UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E and UBR7200-I/O-FE. Since the UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E controller for the Cisco uBR7246VXR was introduced in
Cisco IOS Release 12.1(10) EC release, these bundles are only orderable with
Cisco IOS 12.1(10) EC or later.

Cisco uBR7200 Series Universal Broadband Router products leverage select Cisco 7200 I/O controllers.

Notes:
- The UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E is a U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Class B device with shielded cables. Two shielded cables are bundled in each order of the
UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E for ease of orderability and installation.
- The UBR7200-I/O-2FE/E is not supported on the
Cisco uBR7223 or Cisco uBR7246 Universal Broadband Router. The Cisco uBR7246 is EOS (as of November 15, 2001), and therefore, can no longer be ordered.
- The Cisco uBR7200 Series does not support the I/O-GE controller currently.
